My dog has an upper respiratory infection–what can I do for him until we get to the vet?

I’m pretty sure that my dog has an upper respiratory infection, but I won’t be able to take him to the vet for another two days! What can I do for him in the meantime to make him more comfortable? His third eyelids are about halfway up and his eyes are red and watery.
