Should I be completely wetting the material with dye while doing tye dye? How much dye should be used?
I have a kit, last time I did tye dye there was way too much white. Did I just not use enough dye? How much is enough?
it depends on what you want it to look like. Typical tie dying should be pretty soaked when you take the shirt out of the dye, because you want to make sure it gets all the trough. But not too much thou or it will ruin the effect. I saw dip it for about 10-20 seconds. Depending on how fast you count. Then just ring out the extra dye and WHOLA! Tie Die!
