I’m 23, he’s 39, I have 2 kids, He’s a bachelor…will it work?
I am involved with a man who is 16 years my senior, but I am the one with the two children. People always say with an age gap like this that maybe the younger wouldn’t be ready to give up the free life or be ready for a family, but I think it’s the opposite with us. He’s been burned pretty badly in the past, as have I, but we’re taking things slowly and seeing where it goes. Problem is, I’m falling for him hard-he’s been great to my kids, and he’s wonderful to me, but his sisters are older than him and they all give him a bit of a hard time with it. They also call him the perma-bachelor because he’s the only one in a family of 7 that isn’t married. He seems to be meshing pretty well in our lives…should I be weary of someone deemed the “perma-bachelor” by his own flesh and blood? Or could we be just the thing for him? I don’t want to become completely submerged in this if it’s something that’s not going to last…thanks for the help, guys!
Yes, it can work, however, take it slowly and make sure so the kids don’t get hurt.
