Figure Skates
Any reccomendations for good figure skates for an adult?
I figure skated as a child until my teens and want to get back into it. I am 28 now and want to get new skates for recreation and get a private coach for help. Any suggestions of the type of skates i should get? i dont need anything fancy but i would like something that will last.
The skates I would recommend are low level freestyle skates. You are an adult and need more support than a kid and they will allow you to do some simple jumps and spins if you choose.

Riedell 255 TS: A more expensive brand but are also great skates. Average around $260. http://ice.riedellskates.com/ProductDetail.aspx?ProductName=255-TS
I found something that might even be better for you. It is beginner skate packages. They come with a pair of skates, blade guards, soakers, and a skate bag. I would suggest the Riedell 121 (a model or two lower than the one I suggested earlier but would still work fine).
